After more than one hundred twenty-five years, Schmoyer Funeral Home remains a locally owned, non-franchise business which still tries to do what it has done from its outset - provide considerate and consistent service, offer a wide variety of quality merchandise, and maintain its outstanding facilities and equipment, all at fair prices. This same principle applies to the more contemporary trends of preplanning and nontraditional memorializations. The most significant attribute however, of Schmoyer Funeral Home is its reputation. A most important part of our history, we are conscious of the high standards of past generations and hope to ably continue their legacy. We are avid believers in the value of quality funeral service. In an age of mega-mergers, buyouts, and quick profits, privately owned small businesses are anomalies, independently owned funeral homes being prime examples.
