Betty A. Gouldner, 92, a longtime resident of Longswamp Twp., passed away Monday, May 7, 2018 at Kutztown Manor. She was the wife of the late Roy A. Gouldner. Born in Pine Forge, Berks Co., she was the daughter of the late Chester Kirkhoff and Marian (Schaeffer) Miller. For 40 years, she worked at the former Doe Mountain. She was a member of Huff’s Church, Alburtis. Betty was very active within her community as past president of the Breinigsville VFW ladies auxiliary, a leader for 30 years of the Camp Fire Girls and various community groups in Longswamp area, as well as an event coordinator for the Allentown Historical Society and Lockridge Furnace.

Survivors, sons John R. and his wife Joan of Alburtis, Wayne D. of Boston, MA; sisters Nancy Boyer of Germansville, Janet Favinger-Dooley of Milford, DE, Leila Kirkhoff of Charlotte, NC; son in law Randy Moll of Alburtis; 4 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter Michelle A. Moll and a brother Richard.

Services, 10:30 AM, Saturday, May 12 at Schmoyer Funeral Home, 8926 Brookdale Rd., Breinigsville. Calling will begin at 9:30 AM. Burial to follow at Berks County Memorial Gardens.
