James F. Prendinger, 72, of Breinigsville, passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2018 in Lehigh Valley Hospital with his loving wife by his side. He was the husband of Barbara A. (Moskol) Prendinger. They celebrated their 16th wedding anniversary in September. His first wife Darlene L. passed away in 1996. Born in Allentown he was the son of the late Frank J. and Arlene R. (Krasley) Prendinger. He worked for Newton Auto Body in Breinigsville before retiring. Jim was an avid trap shooter and belonged to various gun clubs in the local area. He enjoyed hunting and was a member of Susquehanna Valley Hunting Club. He was a member of Wheels of Time Street Rod Association. While in high school he belonged to the Future Farmers of America.

He is survived by his wife; daughters, Kristine R. Prendinger; Jodi A. wife of William Aston; sisters, Elaine A. Schlegel; Janet E. Kerschner; stepsons. Michael Yerance and wife, Carla; Jeremy Yerance and wife, Carrie; stepdaughter, Lisa wife of Michael Ringholm; grandchildren, Michael Fitch and Malaki Aston; great grandchildren, Auden and Hunter; step grandchildren Tyler, Gavin, Emma, Anthony, Cheyanne and McKaylyn; step great grandchildren, Ella and Layla; his beloved dog, Bella. He was predeceased by a brother Claude Reichelderfer.

Services will be held at 10:30 am Monday May 14, 2018 at Schmoyer Funeral Home, 8926 Brookdale Road, Breinigsville. Calling hours will be 6:00 to 8:00 pm Sunday and 9:30 to 10:30 am Monday.

In lieu of flowers, a donation in memory of James’ past loved ones may be made to American Cancer Society, 3983 Adler Place #170, Bethlehem, PA 18017.
