Joseph F. Windish, Sr. 98, of Macungie, passed away Thursday, July 7, 2022 at Willow Brook Rehab and Healthcare Ctr., Kutztown. . He was the husband of the late Beulah S. (Erb) Windish. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Frank and Theresa (Kroboth) Windish. He was a faithful member of Most Blessed Sacrament Church, Bally. Before retiring, he worked at the former Boyertown Body Works for many years. He was a former member of Pikeville Rod and Gun Club and enjoyed hunting. He will be remembered for his love of gardening and playing softball for the Fredericksville Tigers. Survivors: sons Joseph F. Jr., and his wife Lori of Lenhartsville, Jeffrey A. and his wife Cindy of Mertztown; daughters Nancy L. Miller of Boyertown, Constance J., wife of Joseph Szilli of Macungie, Linda S. Windish of Topton, Kathleen M. Balsavage and her companion Mark Pienta of Pottstown, Patricia A., wife of Stephen Hayden of Macungie, Mary Alice, wife of William Ryan of Henniker, NH; 18 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brothers and sisters. Mass of Christian Burial: 11:00 AM, Wednesday, July 13 at Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 610 Pine St. Bally, PA. Calling will be held 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at church.
