Robert R. Henninger

Robert "Bobby or grandpa " Richard Henninger 92, of Breinigsville, passed away Thursday May 1, 2025, at Cornerstone Living, where he resided and was cared for the last year and a half . He was the husband for 65 years to the late Sarah A. (Fink) Henninger. Born on November 20, 1932 in Trexlertown along with five siblings, he was the son of the late William and Stella (Werley) Henninger. After completing an eight grade education he went right to working on the family dairy farm, to one day establishing his own Henninger Farm. It became his life’s work that he so much enjoyed. Bobby also had a love for snowmobiling especially when all the locals near and far would appear in his back field for races on the strip. And when there was no snow he'd be in his John Deere gator. Deer hunting season was serious business, along with watching the Sixers and the Phillies and was a champion quoiter. Everywhere he went he'd know someone and had a way of making people laugh. Once a year in mid August you'd know where to find him, every night at the Kutztown Fair. He loved country music with favorites such as George Jones, Conway Twitty, George Strait and Loretta Lynn, along with many years of following Twitty Fever/Rehrig Brother wherever they would be, or just finding a local church picnic or summertime music in the park. And at home it was the CWTAP Uncle Jeffery channel. He is survived by his children, Kyle and fiancé, Beth Kramer, Karen Henninger, Kandy Solt, Kina Leiby, Kurt and wife Kathy, and Kevin and wife Heather; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandson; He was predeceased by his daughter, Kathy Keller; son-in-law Crail Keller, granddaughter Michele Solt and siblings; Warren, Pauline, Arlene, Betty and Kermit. Services will be held 11:00 am Tuesday May 6, 2025 at Ziegels Union Church, 9990 Ziegels Church Rd. Breinigsville. Calling will begin at 9:00am Tuesday in the church Arrangements by Schmoyer Funeral Home, Breinigsville.
